I suppose we should start at the beginning... I was raised in SoCal (L.A., Fresno, San Diego) until the age of 12. My father came up with this brilliant idea to move to small town Michigan and become a pastor of a Pentecostal church of all things! Ha! Me being a PK, what a disaster that was. So I lived out my PK years in Michigan in terror and moved on to San Diego for school. Had way too much fun in SD. Last February I packed my belongings in a bag and jumped on a plane headed for NYC. Here I am almost a year later and I'm pretty sure this city is stuck with me. : )

I'm a native New Yorker. I like to cook, but love ordering Thai food. I love reading fiction but spend all my time reading journal articles for grad school. I like making things but I'm also pretty excited about collecting things others have made. When I get too much stuff, I'll probably take it all apart and make something new.

I've lived in the Northeast, Midwest and South, but never the West. I've spent the most time in Nashville and New York. I think I like the Northeast the best but wonder if I'll end up in Nashville. I prefer the country to the city and split my time between the two.
